Day 1
Delhi to Shimla (Overnight Journey)
Day 3
Journey from Sangla to Nako, then on to the historic town of Tabo.
- Departure from Delhi: Start your journey in the evening via either a Volvo bus or a private vehicle.
- Meet & Greet: Get acquainted with your trip coordinator and fellow travellers.
- Overnight Travel: Enjoy a comfortable overnight journey to Shimla.
Day 2
Journey from Shimla to Sangla, concluding at the picturesque Chitkul Village
- Post-breakfast, begin your journey towards Nako Village in Kinnaur.
- Explore Nako Lake and the Monastery, soaking in the serene surroundings.
- Continue driving towards Tabo, known as the gateway to the Spiti Valley.
- Optional stop at Giu Village to witness the famous 500- year-old mummy (if time permits).
- Arrive at Tabo, home to one of India’s oldest and most revered Buddhist monasteries.
Day 4
Continue your journey to Kaza, the main hub of Spiti Valley, and settle in for the night.
- Post-breakfast, explore the Tabo Monastery, a UNESCO heritage contender.
- Drive towards Dhankar Monastery, and optionally take a short hike to the scenic Dhankar Lake.
- Continue towards Kaza, the vibrant heart of Spiti Valley.
- Enjoy a leisurely evening to unwind or stroll through Kaza’s local market.
Day 5
Kaza Sightseeing – Key, Kibber, Hikkim, Komic & Langza
- After breakfast, full-day Spiti sightseeing.
- Key Monastery – Largest monastery in Spiti, beautiful hilltop location.
- Kibber Village – One of the highest inhabited villages.
- Hikkim – Visit the highest post office in the world.
- Komic Village – One of the highest motorable villages.
- Langza – Famous for fossils and Buddha statue overlooking the valley.
- Return to Kaza by evening.
Day 6
The Mystical Path from Kaza to Chandra Taal Lake
- After breakfast, embark on the scenic drive towards Chandra Taal Lake.
- Stop at Kunzum Pass (4590 m) on the way – a mesmerizing high-altitude vantage point that offers panoramic views.
- Arrive at Chandra Taal by the afternoon.
- Check into lakeside camps (note: vehicles are restricted 2 km before the lake, so enjoy a short walk to your campsite).
- Witness the sunset and experience the lake’s magical transformation as its waters reflect the stunning colors of the sky.
Day 7
From the Tranquil Chandra Taal to the Bustling Delhi via Manali
- Start early from Chandra Taal for your journey back.
- Experience a rugged ride through Batal, Chatru, and the challenging Rohtang Pass.
- Arrive in Manali by late afternoon or evening, after an adventurous drive.
- Catch the evening bus for an overnight journey back home.
Day 8
Delhi Arrival
- As dawn breaks, we reach Delhi's embrace, The journey’s end, yet no time to erase. With a gallery full of moments in frame, And a heart full of memories, none quite the same.
